An A class stay at the B hotel

Summer's finally over! Say goodbye to hot sunny days at the beach and say hello to "cuddle weather".

Although the sun hasn't quite stopped showing up, rainy season has indeed arrived. This makes planning for a trip to a beach a bit difficult; we keep on rescheduling and rescheduling that most of the time it ends up as just another "drawing" with the barkada or another "travel goal" on your list for the next summer.

Since not everyone has the luxury of time for a trip out of town, a staycation is indeed a lifesaver. Being able to relax out of your work zone is something you need to be able to do once in a while.

A few weeks ago we got to stay for a night at the B Hotel Alabang. A premier 4-star hotel under The Bellevue Hotels and Resorts nestled in the business district of the south, Alabang, for their event Meet & Eat (more about the event at What To Eat PH). The location of the hotel is perfect since it's surrounded with establishments but isolated enough to drown the noise of the city.

We arrived in the afternoon and was welcomed immediately with friendly and accommodating staffs.

B Hotel has three room categories; Standard King, Standard Twin, and a Penthouse suite. It has a total of 151 room.

We stayed at their Standard Twin suite that has two queen sized beds. My favorite thing about the room is that it was spacious. Honestly, I hate hotels with no space. The ones you walked in to and that's it, there's the bed!

Although the hotel provides the common toiletries needed, you might find yourself looking for a few things like the hair dryer or a face towel. Don't worry, a list of items available upon request is found on the bedside table for you, just call the front desk for assistance.

I suggest you get a room on a higher floor for a better view of the city. We stayed at the 7th floor and got the view of the roofs of the buildings surrounding the hotel. Not the most enticing view but no worries, we got the event to keep us busy anyways.

Around 6 in the evening we went down for the event and dinner at the Prime Cafe and got to enjoy the finest meals the hotel offers. Just visit here for more details.

"Don’t forget to catch special offers such as San Valley wines for only Php800 nett per bottle, or unlimited beers, mojitos, or sangria for only Php550 nett person during happy hour, available daily from 6:00PM to 10:00PM. Booze and live entertainment? Enjoy it at Prime Café’s Bistro Nights every Thursday, Friday, and Saturday from 8:00PM to 11:00PM."

But if you're more of an homebody don't worry you can call for their "in-room dining" available from 6am to 10pm. Enjoy your food at the comfort of your own room.

The hotel doesn't have many facilities to offer but they do have a small gym and an outdoor hot tub! A first in the area. Although I wasn't able to try out their hot tub I do imagine it would be better if you go at night. It's also a plus that the hotel isn't too crowded, you could enjoy the tub for yourself.

Staying for a night at B hotel was a relief, and something I've been needing. If I could, I'd
plan a staycaton twice a month! But unfortunately, work is life. 😪
